Tottenham Target Kevin Denkey As Spurs Seek Attacking Reinforcements This Summer

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to strengthen their attacking options this summer and have identified FC Cincinnati striker Kevin Denkey as a priority target.

The 25-year-old has attracted attention from several European clubs after a remarkable spell in Major League Soccer with Cincinnati.

Denkey has scored 31 goals and contributed 6 assists in 51 appearances since joining Cincinnati last summer, a record that has caught the eye of multiple top clubs.

Prior to his move to the United States, the striker built his reputation with impressive performances for Cercle Brugge in Belgium.

Spurs are not the only club monitoring the situation, with La Liga side Real Betis also among those keen to secure his signature.

French clubs Paris FC and Lille have also registered an interest in the striker, meaning Tottenham face competition from several directions.

Cincinnati are holding out for a fee in the region of €15 million, which represents a relatively modest outlay for a player of his demonstrated output.

Tottenham have the financial resources to meet that asking price and could move decisively if they choose to prioritise the deal.

Dominic Solanke currently leads the line for Spurs, and the club are keen to bring in competition and support for the England forward.

Denkey would provide goals and creativity in the final third, with his 37 goal contributions across 51 games illustrating the quality he could bring to North London.

The prospect of regular Premier League football would likely make Tottenham a more attractive destination than the other clubs currently pursuing the 25-year-old.

A move to Spurs would represent a significant step forward in Denkey’s career, and the London club should be well placed to offer the most appealing package of the interested parties.
