US Coast Guard Continues Looking for Two Missing Men Near Fort Myers

Search crews continued operations Saturday for two missing adults who failed to return from a fishing trip near Fort Myers.

The U.S. Coast Guard and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office are coordinating air and surface searches. Authorities said the men are considered missing and endangered.

Missing Boaters Identified

The missing individuals were identified as 57-year-old Randall Spivey and 33-year-old Brandon Billmaier.

Deputies said both men departed early Friday morning.

They were traveling aboard a 42-foot Freeman boat.

The boat left from a residence in the 15000 block of Intracoastal Court in Fort Myers.

There has been no confirmed contact since their departure.

Descriptions Released by Authorities

Spivey is described as a white man. He stands 6 feet 1 inch tall. He weighs approximately 245 pounds. Spivey has brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing khaki pants and a dark-colored shirt. Billmaier is also described as a white man. He stands 6 feet 2 inches tall.

He weighs approximately 250 pounds. Billmaier has strawberry-blond hair and brown eyes.

Ongoing Search Efforts

The Coast Guard deployed multiple assets to assist in the search. Sheriff’s deputies are canvassing surrounding waterways. Officials have not released details about weather or sea conditions.

Authorities said the search remains active. They emphasized that time is critical in missing boater cases.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information to come forward. Officials asked residents and boaters to report any sightings.
