Luis Suarez joined his former FC Barcelona teammates at Inter Miami in 2024. The striker reunited with Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets in the United States for what’s likely the last chapter of his football career.
Suarez is in his second year with Inter Miami, and the former Barcelona striker has had several memorable moments with the South Florida-based club. Let’s look at the top five performances from the veteran attacker since joining the MLS club.
Inter Miami 5-0 Orlando City (March 2024)

In his first Florida derby, Suarez dialed back the time and recorded four goal contributions against Orlando City. The Inter Miami star decided to introduce himself early to their rival, and what will go down as one of the more impressive performances in the derby’s history as the two clubs continue to add chapters.
The 38-year-old scored a brace in the first 11 minutes, and then in the 29th minute, he registered an assist, so Suarez was involved in three goals in less than 30 minutes. The veteran striker added another assist in the blowout win to cap off a fantastic performance.
Inter Miami 6-2 New York Red Bulls (May 2024)
Following his two-goal performance against Orlando City in March, the former Liverpool player dialed back time a few weeks later in May. Suarez’s first hat-trick performance for Inter Miami came in 2024 against the New York Red Bulls. After scoring three first-half goals, the Herons saw the Uruguayan take over in the second half. Suarez recorded a hat-trick in less than 15 minutes, scoring in the 68th, 75th, and 81st minutes.
Inter Miami 6-2 New England Revolution (October 2024)
It would be another six-goal Inter Miami performance that allowed Suarez to flourish again later in the 2024 MLS season. The attacker registered another four-goal contribution performance from the veteran, who recorded a brace and two assists in that game. The Inter Miami goal scorer notched two goals in the first half and then proceeded to tally two assists in the second half as the South Florida side secured an impressive win.
Inter Miami 2-2 Palmeiras (June 2025)

For the FIFA World Cup, Inter Miami benefited from having a player of Suarez’s caliber, as the striker showed that in these big games, he can still contribute. The best performance from Suarez at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup was against Brazilian side Palmeiras. Inter Miami’s opening goal in the contest came from an assist from the veteran, and then in the second half, Suarez scored a goal.
Inter Miami 3-1 Pumas UNAM (August 2025)
In another international competition for Inter Miami, Suarez recorded three goal contributions in the Leagues Cup match against Liga MX side Pumas UNAM, all of which came in the second half. Moreover, it was the Uruguayan who recorded an assist on the first Inter Miami goal for Rodrigo De Paul. Afterward, Suarez added his goal and another assist off a goal from Tadeo Allende as the veteran had a hand in all three goals in this victory.
